Matt McSample, a beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 43. Born on June 19, 1982, Matt was known for his warmth, kindness, and dedication to his family, which brought immense joy to those around him.
A devoted husband, Matt cherished his wife Emily and was a proud father to their two children, Kate and Mason. He took great pleasure in sharing life’s moments with them, from family outings to cozy nights at home filled with laughter and love. Matt's passion for life extended beyond his family; he was also an avid dog lover and enjoyed the companionship of his beloved dogs, Jubby and Kasey, who always brought a smile to his face.
In addition to his familial commitments, Matt found happiness in his hobbies. He was passionate about playing basketball, immersing himself in the world of video games, and engaging in weight training—activities that not only provided him with joy but also fostered friendships. His spirit of camaraderie and enthusiasm for life will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during visitation services scheduled for July 31, 2028, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, at Tukios, located at 2326 E Washington Blvd, Ogden, UT 84409. A graveside service will take place on November 24, 2032, at 10:00 AM at Mountain View Cemetery, 1315 Acero Ave, Pueblo, CO 81004.
Matt's legacy of love and kindness will continue to resonate in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be dearly missed but will forever remain a cherished part of their lives.
