IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Spencer
Hilton
February 2, 2026 – February 5, 2026
Burial
Starts at 8:00 am (Mountain time)
Spencer Hilton, a spirited collector of rare books and a master of making awkward situations feel just a bit less awkward, graced our world from February 2, 2026, until his theatrical exit on February 5, 2026. While his time with us was short, it was filled with kindness, laughter, and an insatiable quest for the next great literary treasure.
Born on what was presumably a rather ordinary day in February, Spencer quickly set out to rewrite the rules of living with flair and humor. He earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from XYZ University, proving that not only could he collect books, but he could also collect diplomas—and he did it with such gusto that he even snagged the Outstanding Academic Achievement award in 2010!
Spencer was the kind of person who could light up a room—not just because he had a great sense of humor, but also because he had that rare ability to make anyone feel welcome with his warm, kind demeanor. It was as if he carried a magical aura that made strangers feel like family, even if that family might have a quirky uncle who sings at weddings.
He was an avid book collector, spending countless hours navigating musty bookstores and heated auctions, with an eagle-eye for any literary gem that caught his fancy. If there was ever a book that held the secret to life, Spencer would probably sell a kidney to procure it—though he’d likely crack a joke about the renal market fluctuations before handing over cash.
Spencer leaves behind a beloved sister, Sarah Johnson, and her charming husband, Tom Johnson, who perhaps sometimes wondered how many “yet-to-be-read” books could fit in their living room without causing structural damage. They say family is everything, and in Spencer’s case, they made sure he had plenty of opportunities to crack them up with his quick wit and goofy antics.
He is now reunited in the beyond with his dear mother, Susan Smith; father, John Smith Sr.; and brother, James Smith. Imagine the raucous laughter and storytelling happening up there—if they’re not engaged in a fierce debate over the best authors of all time!
Though Spencer's time was fleeting, he made a mark akin to the embellished covers of his prized books—bold, bright, and unforgettable. He reminded us that life, much like a great book, should be filled with court jesters, epic plots, and a hearty dose of humor. As we say goodbye to this marvelous gentleman, let's remember to embrace kindness, share a laugh, and maybe hunt for that rare book that seems just out of reach. Spencer would surely advise us to never stop searching for the adventure in every page.
