Howdy y'all,

We say goodbye to a true cowboy, Howard M. Hall, who passed away on December 23, 2005, at his home in Houston, Texas at the age of 85. Howard was a man of few words and wanted no service to be held in his honor.

Howard was born May 30, 1920 in Sacramento, Calif., to Salvatore and Elle Hall but he traveled all over Texas during his life. Howard was not just an ordinary cowboy but one who could do anything he set his mind to do. When he was just a youngin', he built a wagon to help push around his little brother.

During World War II, Mr. Hall worked as a radio operator for the United State Air Force and spent 14 months in the South Pacific. In 1942 Howard came down to Texas with his wife Sally and never looked back.

Howard worked for Amtrak and Exxon during the oil spill as their communications specialist. His dedication to his work showed in how he went above and beyond to get the job done right.

Mr. Hall and Sally built their vacation home in Galveston, Texas where they spent many winters together enjoying the simple things in life.

Howard is survived by his wife of twenty-eight years, Sally, and daughter Jean Hall. To send your condolences please write to P.O Box 1425, Houston TX 98382.

Rest easy cowboy, your legend lives on forever in our hearts.
